As of the 2009-2010 school year there are 20,747 Students (PK-12), an increase of 439 students from the prior year, making it the 4th largest school district in Oklahoma. Six thousand four hundred eighty nine students live in the OKC area of the Edmond school district. Sixty languages are spoken in the 15 Elementary Schools and 1 Early Childhood Center, 5 Middle Schools, 3 High Schools and 2 Alternative High School Centers.
